The Nina Foch Course

Stream | DVD | Online Course

Presented by George Lucas and Randal Kleiser in association with the USC School of Cinematic Arts, The Nina Foch Course for Filmmakers and Actors is drawn from more than 200 hours of footage from Nina Foch’s legendary directing class at USC.

An Academy Award nominee and master teacher, Foch developed a rigorous and practical method for script analysis, character breakdown and performance. A method that has influenced generations of actors and directors. In this course, she guides students step by step through scene structure, intentions, relationships and the discipline required to create truthful, playable performances.

More than an acting class, this is a rare archival master class in directing actors, and in understanding human behavior.
